Liberty X added to Manchester Pride 2017 gala dinner
Liberty X have been confirmed for Manchester Pride‘s Spring Benefit fundraiser, alongside news that it has moved to The Midland Hotel.
The Manchester Pride Spring Benefit will this year move to The Midland Hotel, in the heart of the city. Hosted on Thursday 18 May, the event welcomes sponsors, business leaders, individual supporters, community champions and celebrities to raise funds for the Community Fund.
Liberty X Girls will perform at the event, having announced their UK tour as a trio. The full UK run will see them joined by Atomic Kitten, B*Witched and S Club 3.
The Gala will be hosted by Anthony Krank, with additional performances by singer Alexander Stewart and stand up comedian and actor Aaron Twitchen.
“We’re excited to bring our annual fundraiser into the city centre for the first time this year and we have some excellent entertainment lined up to perform,” says Chief Executive at Manchester Pride, Mark Fletcher. “The Liberty X ladies are terrific performers and our guests will be wowed by their new line-up.
“The event, which exists to raise money for the Manchester Pride Community Fund, is an integral part of our fundraising calendar and we look forward to inviting more and more of the business community to join us this May. Whilst an LGBT fundraiser, we don’t just welcome members of the LGBT business community, but also supporters and ambassadors who want to enjoy a really good night out and help us raise money at the same time.”

Manchester Pride will host its Big Weekend from the 25 – 28 August 2017. The full weekend will host Spice Girl Melanie C, X Factor champion Louisa Johnson, Finnish pop singer-songwriter Saara Sofia Aalto, fashion consultant and TV presenter Gok Wan, who will try his hand spinning a mix of ’90s deep house and reggae. Plus, expect Hercules and Love Affair vocalist Shaun J Wright to provide a healthy dose of dance music.
