Latitude 2023 announces ridiculously funny comedy line-up
Romesh, Sarah Pascoe, Bridget Christie, Ed Gamble and more will be bringing the hilarity to Henham
Latitude Festival has announced its comedy bill for 2023, including headliners Romesh Ranganathan, Sarah Pascoe, Bridget Christie and Ed Gamble. The Suffolk festival has long been heralded for its focus on funny stuff (as well as the music stuff), a principle reflected in yet another strong line-up for this summerโs event.
Alongside the headliners, Latitude also confirmed a long list of top-level comedy talent for this July, including Fern Brady, Amy Gledhill, Thanyia Moore, Kerry Godliman, Daniel Foxx, Ed Byrne, Michelle De Swarte, Rosie Holt, Russell Kane and loads more.
Bridget Christie paid tribute to the festivalโs standing, saying: โIt’s the best comedy stage of all the festival comedy stages by some margin. Some festivals give you nightmares and PTSD, but performing at Latitude makes you feel good about yourself.โ Gamble recalled his last adventure at the festival when he โpeed in a bottle in my tent and kicked it over in the nightโ.
It’s not all funny stuff though. As well as an appetising comedy menu, Latitude has also confirmed a whole raft of music additions, including James (with a 20-piece orchestra and gospel choir), Mimi Webb, Confidence Man, acclaimed post punks Yard Act, Dry Cleaning and The Murder Capital, and Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland.
Latitude 2023 will be headlined by Pulp, Paolo Nutini and George Ezra. The festival takes place in Henham Park in Suffolk and tickets are on sale now
