Kendrick Lamar and SZA will bring their joint Grand National Tour to the UK this summer

Following their appearance at the Super Bowl, two of music’s biggest names unite for a UK tour

Kendrick Lamar and SZA have announced that their Grand National Tour will come to the UK this July, visiting Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. Tickets will go on sale this Friday.

Fresh from a viral Super Bowl halftime show, the rapper and singer are ready to reunite on their joint headline tour. Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar and Platinum-selling recording artist SZA will begin their Grand National Tour in the US this April, with a European leg kicking off in Germany this June.

The Grand National Tour will arrive at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 8 July, with a stop at Birmingham’s Villa Park on 10 July. The tour will then continue to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 19 July and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 22 July.

Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 14 February at 9am.

The announcement comes in the wake of Kendrick Lamar’s triumphant night at the Grammys, including wins for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for ‘Not Like Us’. Meanwhile, this year saw five-time Grammy winner SZA release Lana, the extended edition of her enormously successful album SOS, and made her acting debut in One Of Them Days alongside Keke Palmer.

This weekend, Kendrick Lamar performed a halftime set at the Super Bowl, bringing SZA out as a featured performer. It was the first glimpse into the duo’s onstage dynamic, and an insight into what audiences might expect from their joint tour. Lamar last performed in the UK on The Big Steppers tour in 2022, playing multiple nights at London’s O2. As part of her SOS tour in 2023, SZA also played multiple nights at the O2, with her most recent UK show being her headline slot on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage.
