Jimin from BTS is working on a solo album

Big Hit Music has confirmed that the K-pop star has a record in the works

It’s official: Jimin’s solo album is coming. Following a misleading report that the record was arriving in February, Big Hit Music have jumped into the conversation to clarify that there is no official release date yet – but they have confirmed that the album does exist.

“Details will be announced once the schedule is finalised,” said the label in a statement.

A few days ago, Jimin released a track with Big Bang’s Taeyang called ‘Vibe’, although there is no word yet on whether the song will be included on the album.

‘Vibe’ is the latest in a series of solo tracks from the K-pop star over the last several years, but he has yet to release a solo album. When his album does arrive, he will be the fourth member of BTS to release a solo LP, following J-hope, V and Jungkook.
