Headliners announced for Isle Of Wight Festival 2026

Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure top the first bumper crop of names announced for the festival next summer

Isle of Wight Festival has revealed its 2026 line-up, and it’s a blockbuster. Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris and The Cure will headline the three-day event, which runs 19–21 June, with tickets going live at 8am on 1 October.

Capaldi kicks things off on the Friday, returning to a main-stage coronation after a rollercoaster couple of years away. His comeback single ‘Survive’ didn’t just top the UK charts – it bulldozed its way to fastest-selling single of 2025 status, while ‘Something In The Heavens’ proved he can still wield a tearjerker like nobody else. Having just rattled through a sold-out 17-date arena tour, he’ll arrive at Seaclose Park armed with the kind of big-hearted ballads and cheeky self-deprecation that make him one of the most bankable live acts around.

Saturday belongs to Calvin Harris, who needs little introduction at this point. The Scottish DJ and producer has spent the last two decades welding EDM to pop in ways that changed the radio forever, and his Isle of Wight debut promises the full stadium-slaying arsenal – from ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Feel So Close’ to ‘Giant’. Expect neon, bass drops and an unholy number of confetti cannons.

The weekend closes with The Cure, who remain one of the most enduring names in British music. Their 2025 record Songs of A Lost World was their first in 16 years, and met with the kind of reverence most bands can only dream of. With a catalogue spanning 45 years, from the spectral gloom of Pornography and Disintegration to the pop brilliance of ‘Just Like Heaven’ and ‘Friday I’m In Love’, Robert Smith’s mob remain an untouchable festival finale.

The undercard is suitably stacked, too. Wet Leg return for a homecoming victory lap off the back of their second UK No.1, Moisteurizer. US breakout Teddy Swims – whose ‘Lose Control’ carved out a Billboard record with its 100-week run – makes his festival debut. Tom Grennan headlines the Big Top with his wryly titled chart-topper Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be, while Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter prepare to inject some chaos.

Elsewhere, Brit winners The Last Dinner Party bring the baroque-pop, David Gray brings Dear Life, KT Tunstall and Rick Astley bring the anthems, while Feeder, Shed Seven and Starsailor bring the indie riffs. Jo Whiley unpacks her 90s Anthems disco in the tent, while FIVE get a second crack at ‘Keep On Movin’’ and ‘When the Lights Go Out’. Suzanne Vega, Anastacia and rising Liverpudlian talent Luvcat round out the first wave of names on a bill that already sounds pretty full.

For a festival that’s always thrived on its blend of heritage and hype, Isle of Wight 2026 looks like it’s nailed the formula again – heritage icons, current chart-crushers, and plenty of surprises left to come.
