Foo Fighters announce two huge UK shows for 2026
The group have revealed Liverpool dates for their Take Cover tour next summer
Foo Fighters have announced that their Take Cover Tour will visit the UK next June. The band will play two huge shows at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium, marking their only UK stadium shows that year. They’ll play the iconic venue on Thursday 25 and Saturday 27 June.
Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin will also be visiting Oslo, Stockholm, Warsaw, Munich, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Milan, Madrid and Oeiras as part of the European leg of the Take Cover Tour. Support will come from Royel Otis, Inhaler, Otoboke Beaver and Die Spitz on the UK dates.
This announcement comes after Foo Fighters released their new single ‘Asking for a Friend’ on October 23. The Take Cover Tour 2026 will represent the band’s first UK shows since 2024’s Everything Or Nothing At All Tour, which the Guardian praised for its “thrilling intensity”, and which solidified the band in the Evening Standard as “still the undisputed kings of stadium rock.”
