Fontaines D.C. announce huge 2027 UK outdoor tour with Little Simz and Viagra Boys
The run takes Fontaines D.C. to Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow and London, after Dopamine Chamber arrives this October
Fontaines D.C. are scaling up again. The Dublin five-piece have announced five outdoor UK headline shows for summer 2027, taking over parks and stadiums from Cardiff to London with Little Simz and Viagra Boys joining them at every date. These will be the band’s biggest headline shows yet.
The Fontaines D.C. 2027 UK tour starts at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff on 29 June, before St James’ Park in Newcastle on 1 July and Manchester’s Heaton Park on 3 July. Glasgow Green follows on 6 July, with the run finishing at London Stadium on 9 July.
It caps a sizeable few days for the band. Fontaines D.C. have just headlined Reading & Leeds 2026, and their entire November 2026 UK arena tour sold out on the morning these new dates were announced. Last summer brought another marker: 45,000 people packed into Finsbury Park for their biggest London headline show at the time.
All of that arrives with album five looming. Dopamine Chamber lands on 16 October via XL Recordings, with James Ford returning as producer following 2024’s Romance. Lead single ‘Marianne’ offers the first route inside. “The album itself is a dopamine chamber,” says Grian Chatten, describing a record built around music capable of shifting mood and sensation.
Romance already gave Fontaines D.C. one of their biggest commercial runs, reaching No.2 on the UK Albums Chart and becoming 2024’s best-selling vinyl album by an international group, with 42,100 copies sold. The following year brought the BRIT Award for International Group of the Year.
The support pairing adds plenty of personality of its own. Little Simz arrives after 2025 album Lotus and a run that included her biggest headline shows to date, while Viagra Boys bring the gloriously skewed punk energy that has made their live sets such a draw.
