Daniel Caeser announces Manchester show this September
The R&B singer-songwriter will bring his Son of Spergy Tour to Manchester later this year
Daniel Caeser has announced European dates for the Daniel Caeser – Son of Spergy Tour. The R&B singer-songwriter will play Manchester’s Co-op Live on Friday 4 September, before continuing the European leg of the tour in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Cologne.
The tour celebrates Caeser’s fourth studio album Son of Spergy, which was released on 24 October 2025. Inspired by his reconciliation with his parents, the album won Contemporary R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2026 Juno Awards, and features collaborations with Sampha, Bon Iver, Yebba, Blood Orange, his brother, 646yf4t (Zachary Simmonds), and his own father, gospel singer Norwill Simmonds, whose nickname inspired the album’s title.
Son of Spergy debuted at number eight on the Billboard Canadian Albums, becoming Caesar’s third consecutive top ten album on the chart. It also became his first top ten debut on the US Billboard 200.
Caeser previously announced the Asian and North American legs of the Son of Spergy tour, beginning in Singapore on 16 May. The singer is set to visit 30 cities across Asia and North America before bringing the tour to Europe.
Caeser’s debut album, 2017’s Freudian, was nominated for three Grammy Awards, with H.E.R. collaboration ‘Best Part’ winning for Best R&B performance. Freudian was followed by Case Study 01 in 2019 and Never Enough in 2023.
