Beetlejuice The Musical is officially coming to London
The long-awaited Broadway transfer of Beetlejuice The Musical will finally happen next May
After years of waiting, Beetlejuice The Musical will finally make its London debut next May. The show, based on the hit Tim Burton film, arrives in London’s Prince Edward Theatre from May 2026. It will be directed by two-time Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, with casting yet to be announced.
Beetlejuice The Musical follows teenager Lydia, who is grieving the death of her mother as her father moves on with a new girlfriend. The deceased previous inhabitants of the house try to haunt the family, but need guidance from a scheming bio-exorcist ghost who they call Beetlejuice. When Lydia and Beetlejuice become friendly, things quickly go awry…
Beetlejuice The Musical opened on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre on April 25 2019 and was nominated for eight Tony Awards. After closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the musical is now back on Broadway at the Palace Theatre.
