Alexandra Palace Fireworks & Drone Festival returns with a two-day 2026 weekender
The Ally Pally skyline lights up again this November, with Eats Everything, BARRIOKE and hundreds of drones
Alexandra Palace is getting ready to light up London again. The Alexandra Palace Fireworks & Drone Festival 2026 returns on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, spreading its fireworks, drones, music, food and fairground attractions across a full weekend for the first time.
Saturday keeps the late-night festival atmosphere, with an 8pm fireworks and drone display followed by a headline DJ set from Bristol house favourite Eats Everything. He arrives at Ally Pally after a busy 2026 that has included new singles ‘Make Some Noise’, ‘Moonblower’ and ‘Waterman’, following 2025 album We Lost Ourselves and Found A Family.
The sky belongs to Celestial before the fireworks begin – the drone specialists return for a third year with hundreds of choreographed aircraft, fresh from finishing runners-up on Britain’s Got Talent in May 2026. Elsewhere, Saturday stretches across the Palace and park with a bonfire, funfair, ice skating, StrEATlife street food and a German Bier Festival taking over the Great Hall.
Sunday changes the pace with the festival’s first Family Fun Day and an earlier 6pm display. A reduced capacity leaves extra room for the funfair, ice rink, marshmallow toasting and Junior Jungle Kids Rave, while Shaun Williamson – familiar from EastEnders and Extras – brings his audience-powered BARRIOKE show to the Palace.
There’s another new vantage point for 2026, too. SUMMIT – Ally Pally Rooftop Adventure will offer a limited number of visitors the chance to watch from the Palace roof, 130 metres above sea level. Opened in February 2026, SUMMIT is billed as the UK’s highest roof walk and reaches the Angel of Plenty statue with 360-degree views across London.
Fireworks have been staged at Alexandra Palace since the late 19th century, when Victorian displays included pyrotechnic recreations of Mount Vesuvius and the Spanish Armada. This year, drones, house music and rooftop viewing give Ally Pally’s grandest tradition it’s most dazzling upgrade to date.
