We’re proud to present Homecoming – our brand new video series featuring some of our favourite artists exploring their home cities and the music venues that make their scene so special.

It’s been one hell of year for Fenne Lily. Having played shows and festivals across Europe she’s now embarking on her first ever UK headline tour to celebrate the release her incredible debut album On Hold. Before jumping back to the continent for more shows Fenne will pass through her hometown on Tuesday 17 April to play the uniquely waterborne venue that is Bristol’s Thekla.

“I’m kind of treating the Thekla show as the album launch show. All my friends are going to come, the music was written two miles from the venue. Everything comes together for that show”.

Originally born and raised in Dorset, Fenne began making trips to Bristol to play gigs whilst studying for her A-levels. It was at that time that the city became a gateway to new friendships and exposed the young artist to a kaleidoscope of experiences and previously unconsidered opportunities. Speaking of that time Fenne remembers…

“The first show I ever played was at The Louisiana and will always play there if I’m asked to. It’s the one!”
