Will.i.am tips The Voice finalist Leah McFall to be the next Adele
Thee Black Eyed Peas main-man Will.i.am has tipped The Voice finalist Leah McFall to be as successful as Adele.
The singer mentored Leah in the latest series of the BBC talent show and told yesterday’s Metro:”She’s a potential Adele – her voice is phenomenal.”
Will also vented his frustration at not being able to work with the young Irish singer directly:”I brought her to Los Angeles to do her record. The contract says we can’t do that but who cares?
“I don’t think it’s fair. My team doesn’t end when the cameras are off. I feel obligated. Just singing on The Voice isn’t enough.
“Leah was the best singer by 1,000 miles. You want to be able to launch an act that baffles the US with how great her voice is.”
Will.i.am is touring the UK throughout December and is expected to appear in the third series of The Voice.
