Comprising vocalist and guitarist Henry Camamile, lead guitarist Rory Young, bassist Andrew Noswad and drummer Oli Khan, Lodnon based Sea Girls are currently gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated debut album, Open Up Your Head, and a subsequent run of headline dates across the UK.

“This has been the longest any of us haven’t played a gig since we were about 18 so it’s pretty safe to say it’s going to be amazing to be back,” the band say, looking towards the near future. “I think everyone who loves music and live shows know that the first gig after all this is going to be incredibly special. On top of that, these are also our biggest shows so far which is just the icing on the cake.”

Sea Girls will take to Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London in November 2020, including a coveted headline show at the capital’s iconic O2 Academy Brixton. The shows will offer fans an opportunity to hear music from the band’s debut album live, including the anthemic Ready For More and latest single, Do You Really Wanna Know?.

“This tour was originally to celebrate our EP that came out in March, but by November our debut album will be well and truly out,” Sea Girls enthuse. “It’s going to be incredibly tough to pick a set list but there’s going to be as much as we can cram in, it’s going to be one hell of a celebration!”

The album and live show also follow the release of their six-track EP, Under Exit Lights, which dropped back in March 2020.

“The reaction to everything has been really great,” they say speaking of both the EP and their newest track. “Normally for us seeing people singing along to these songs live is what caps off releases for us so not having that has definitely changed the dynamic. We’ve seen some amazing artwork, some great covers and so much love from our fans during lockdown, it’s been heartwarming. Hopefully it’s gotten everyone ready for an album from us now!”

Now armed with a promising collection of upbeat guitar-pop – paired with songwriters Henry and Rory’s introspective lyrics – Sea Girls took a moment to test themselves on… well… themselves. Watch above as the four-piece see how well they know their own mind as they open up their heads for a very unique Sea Girls personality quiz.
