Vaults confirm debut album and UK tour details

The band behind the track from the current John Lewis advert have confirmed details of their debut album.

Vaults will be dropping Caught In Still Life on 2 December 2016 through Virgin EMI, before hitting the road in February.

The band recorded their rendition of One Day I’ll Fly Away, originally by Randy Crawford, for the department store’s latest winter campaign.

“We were approached about doing a version of One Day I’ll Fly Away for the iconic John Lewis Christmas ad and loved the song choice,” says Blythe Pepino of Vaults. “It’s such a powerful and beautiful song, made famous by the amazing Randy Crawford. Recording it at the Abbey Road studios with the talented, producer Chris Hill, and a 70 piece choir and 66 piece orchestra, was a truly incredible experience.”

Their tour dates look like this:

5 February – King Tuts, Glasgow
6 February – Deaf Institute, Manchester
