Trivium plot string of small shows in response to fan requests
Trivium will tour the UK in March 2016, marking the band’s first shows with drummer Paul Wandtke on British soil.
The US metal titans have plotted 11 shows that they’re hoping will please fans who’ve been calling for them to visit smaller cities in the UK.
“Two of the most common questions the band sees from fans, via their social media, are “but when are you playing my [smaller] town?” and “why do most bands only play the big cities?” reads the official announcement.
Adding: “For this tour therefore, Trivium have purposely eschewed the usual places like Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, and London.”
With that, Trivium will stop in the following cities this March:
20 – Norwich UEA
21 – Ipswich Corn Exchange
22 – Portsmouth Pyramids
23 – Bristol O2 Academy
25 – Oxford O2 Academy
26 – Lincoln Engine Shed
27 – Leicester O2 Academy
29 – York Barbican
30 – Middlesbrough Empire
31 – Kilmarnock Grand Hall
April
1- Aberdeen Beach Ballroom
