Our weekly round up of this week's biggest new tours, shows and events.
One of the most successful breakthrough stars of the past few years, Tom Walker has confirmed details of his biggest ever UK headline tour.
The newly announced dates kick off in London on 24 October 2019, before heading to Liverpool, Cardiff, Norwich, Swindon, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.
Tom Walker has enjoyed a phenomenal start to 2019. The singer-songwriter released his debut album What a Time to Be Alive on 1 March 2019, with the record topping the charts and becoming the fastest selling debut album by an artist in the last two years.
Prior to the release of the record, Walker took home his first ever BRIT Award for Best British Breakthrough act at the star-studded ceremony at London’s The O2 in February. Walker used his acceptance speech to thank his grandmother, who was watching back at home in Scotland.
Walker is currently in the middle of preparing for a sold out UK headline tour. The tour, which starts in April, takes in shows at venues such as London’s Roundhouse, Barrowlands in Glasgow.
Many will know Walker for his platinum-selling track Leave a Light On, which was also used extensively in an advert for Sony Bravia televisions.
Due to the success of his debut album, Tom has recently entered the singles chart with the track Just You and I. Check out the official video for the single below:
