The festival will return to Leeds and Hatfield in May 2021.
Welsh rockers Stereophonics have announced a series of huge UK arena shows, kicking off on the 23 February 2017. The live run takes from through to Monday 12 March at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, and features stops at London’s SSE Arena in Wembley, and two shows at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena in Wales.
The tour comes in support of the band’s forthcoming album, Scream Above The Sounds. It’s the tenth studio album by Stereophonics, who last released Keep The Village Alive in 2015.
Stereophonics released their Word Gets Around debut in 1997, with a successful career that has long outshone other artists of their ilk.
Fans have already had a glimpse of things to come, with the rock band, fronted by the distinct vocals of Kelly Jones, dropping All In One Night in July. More recently they unveiled new single Caught By The Wind.
Known for huge stadium-sized hits such as Dakota, The Bartender and the Thief, and the melancholic Maybe Tomorrow, Stereophonics have soundtracked many lives since forming in 1992. Both this decade’s Graffiti on the Train and Keep The Village Alive celebrated top five success in the UK official album chart, with the latter reaching No.1.
Stereophonics hope to replicate the success with new album Scream Above The Sounds upon release on the 27 October 2017, joining fellow chart-topping albums Performance and Cocktails, Just Enough Education To Perform, You Gotta Go There To Come Back, Language. Sex. Violence. Other?, and Pull The Pin.
