What’s sure to be an evening to remember has gotten even better! Shawn Mendes is joining the already glowing line-up of pop stars performing at the Rays of Sunshine Concert on 24 October at The SSE Arena, Wembley.
The Canadian singer-songwriter became one of the world’s most followed musicians online and broke records with his song Life of the Party in 2014. As the first single from his debut EP, The Shawn Mendes EP, it topped the iTunes charts and sold over 150,000 copies in its first week. After scoring several more hits from that album, including Something Big, Stitches and I Know What You Did Last Summer, Mendes was named Favourite New Artist at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards.
X Factor star Nicole Scherzinger is also appearing at the concert. The X Factor judge and former lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls will do a special song with the Rays of Sunshine Children’s Choir that’s sure to melt hearts.
Plus, Joe Jonas is bringing his LA-based four-piece DNCE across the pond for this special event. X Factor star Fleur East and Factor reigning winner Louisa Johnson along with the platinum-selling rock/pop band Lawson have also signed on to perform.
