The punk masters play V in full.

Five albums in, The Bronx know how to put on a show. You keep it honest, you keep it true, and you keep it real. Someone falls over? You pick them up. It’s just that way it works.

Tonight’s gig is the conclusion of an extremely intimate UK tour where they play Bronx V in full, before a few well selected hits at the end. There can’t be more than 150 people in here. It’s that intimate.

The Bronx - Two Birds (Official Video)

Bronx V is a real highlight. Arguably the strongest most consistent album of their career, it’s a to-never-be-repeated treat to be able to hear it in full, as stompers such as Side Effects, Two Birds, Sore Throats and Cordless Kids really get the crowd moving. But the masses, if there is such a thing in such a small venue, get all they can eat too as rouble rousing renditions of Heart Attack American and Knifeman in particular really bringing the crowd down.

But ultimately the test of any punk rock gig is – do you come out sweating like a Roman bath punching the air like you can change the world? Tonight, the answer is yes. Let’s change the world.
