The heavy metallers return with debut album 'The Goat' later this month too.
Ahead of releasing their eagerly awaited debut album, heavy metal meets grunge band Puppy have announced a headline tour, kicking off in Bristol on the 18 April 2019 and leading up to a show at London’s Underworld.
The dates follow their imminent run with Monster Magnet, and last year’s winter tour alongside stateside metal outfit King 810.
The Goat, the first full-length album by Puppy, will be available from 25 January 2019 and follows their 2017 EP Vol II. It continues a career rise that has seen the trio take to stages at Download Festival, Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury and Bloodstock, as well as appearing on the legendary Guitar Hero series with single Forever.
The band most recently revealed the video for World Stands Still, taken from their forthcoming debut album and showcasing their eclectic blend of thrash, heavy metal and grunge.
Comprising Billy Howard, Will Michael and Jock Norton, Puppy have welcomed praise by the likes of The Guardian, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang!, DIY Magazine and more, joining glam-punks Creeper, doom metal outfit Conana, and skater icons CKY on the road among others.
For The Goat the band have teamed up with producer Neil Kennedy, whose catalogue includes work by homegrown heroes Creeper and Boston Manor, and Tom Dalgety who has worked on releases by Royal Blood and Ghost.
Puppy will be showcasing their new material come April, performing on the following dates:
18 April 2019 – The Exchange, Bristol
