Preview: Black Sabbath are nearing their end

To call Black Sabbath legends would be an understatement.

To call Tony Iommi alone a mere legend would even be an understatement. And of course Ozzy Osbourne is more of a living rock-god than anyone else on planet earth.

There shouldn’t be any hesitation to be a part of the exclusive group who can say that they saw the legendary Black Sabbath for the very last time, and the end of this month will be your last chance. Since the initial announcement back in September 2015, The End Tour has spanned the globe starting in North America and finishing in their hometown of Birmingham.

Yet having annihilated Download in June 2016, the UK got a taste of what was to be expected when the Brummies were to return this year. Fittingly, they have decided to close out their farewell tour with five more UK dates, concluding with two in London and of course two hometown shows at the Genting Arena in Birmingham.

As if the headliners aren’t enough, the thrills will kick off from the moment doors open because California’s Rival Sons will be getting the crowds warm with their impressive classic rock sound. Likened to legendary bands including Led Zeppelin, they’ve been supporting some of their heroes in recent years, including AC/DC and Alice Cooper.
