Playlist: What Shvpes will be listening to on tour with Trivium
As Shvpes gear up to open for Trivium on their imminent UK tour, they’ve pulled together the songs that get them hyped up on the road.
Shvpes front man Griff Dickinson (son of the legendary Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce) told us which songs get the Birmingham metal act hyped up on tour.
The band will be joining SikTh and Trivium on the road, kicking off their UK run in Belfast on the 12 February 2017.
Here are Griff’s songs of choice:
Wage War – Spineless
To help us keep fit on the road. This is the best work out song, partly because it’s so intense, partly because it only last two minutes.
Twenty One Pilots – Doubt
We’ve got some big drives on this tour, this is a great tune to chuck in your headphones and sink into your own head for a bit.
Incubus – Wish You Were Here
It’s like music’s answer to a postcard.
Led Zeppelin – Ramble On
6 week road trip calls for the ultimate road trip song.
Trivium – Dead & Gone
Cos it’s a banger.
SikTh – Summer Rain
That slap bass doe.
Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn – 1994
Pre show chills.
Loyle Carner – Damselfly
Pre show chills.
Lower than Atlantis – Work For It
Pre show hype up.
Migos – Bad & Boujee
Post show chills.
While She Sleeps – You Are We
I just haven’t had enough of this track yet. It’s got a many more plays to go.
