Rapidly rising indie band The Hunna are set to play a secret Manchester show on Saturday 23 September 2017 as part of the Dr Martens Stand For Something Tour. It comes as they prepare to play a headline UK show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton in January 2018.

Dr Martens are brining three different artists together under one unifying factor – their unique spirit of individuality. Following Yxng Bane’s London show, The Hunna will be taking to Manchester for a very special, secret show.

Having played Reading and Leeds Festival this summer (check out our interview with the band below), and performed a sell out tour following the release of debut album 100, the Watford outfit have been growing from strength to strength.

Asked what The Hunna stand for, the band responded: “We stand for a life that dares. A life of breaking down restrictions. A life of people joining together through positive energies. A life of believing together.”

The Stand For Something campaign has over the years seen special performances by the likes of You me At Six, Twin Atlantic, VANT, Tonight Alive and Lower Than Atlantis.

There’s still a very special Glasgow date to be announced too. Get tickets for The Hunna’s secret pop-up show, and be the first to know what’s going down in Glasgow, by signing up over on the Dr Martens site here.

In the meantime, and to celebrate their London headline gig on the 13 January 2018, we asked The Hunna for their favourite ten tracks to keep them occupied on the road. We’ve added a sneaky 11th track too, namely The Hunna’s very own You and Me. We warned: Parental advisory on a lot of the tracks below.

Idiot Pilot – Theme From The Pit

A rock/piano emotional track that has a real dreamy feel.

Nirvana – Where Did You Sleep Last Night?

A raw grunge classic with Kurt’s harrowing vocals.

Drake ft. Giggs – KMTA hard track with a dark beat and two of the biggest in the game.
