They'll be joined in Manchester by Bury Tomorrow.
Australian outfit Parkway Drive have added a second Manchester date to their UK tour, joined by Bury Tomorrow on 30 January 2019.
The news follows the release of new album Reverence, Parkway Drive’s sixth studio album and the follow up to 2015’s Ire.
With Reverence, Parkway Drive not only explore a more adventurous sound – for opening track Wishing Wells, the recording studio was plunged into total darkness – they also offer up their most personal record to date.
Peppered by themes such as loss – the band have endured a series of tragedies during the album’s writing, including the untimely loss of two loved ones – Reverence explores how short and fragile life can be. So, while Ire brought Parkway Drive’s uncompromising artistry to bold new levels, Reverence pushes their creative ambition even further.
They’ll return to the UK in January and February 2019 for a string of new live dates, including two shows in Manchester, a show in Nottingham and Cardiff and a huge headline appearance at London’s Alexandra Palace.

Using heartbreak as the creative fuel for Reverence seems to have had a lasting impact on the band, too. “This time there are triumphs that come from swinging a sledgehammer and dealing with real raw emotion,” says frontman Winston McCall ahead of the record’s release. “I hope Reverence is the kind of album that redefines what people expect of us, in the sense that you can now expect the unexpected. This time around we’ve taken more risks, and I don’t think we’ve ever sounded more interesting.”
