Orbital announce two UK headline shows

The legendary electronic duo will headline in Manchester and London.

With a summer of headline festival shows, Orbital have now confirmed two major UK shows for the end of the year. Taking to Manchester and London, these will be the only indoor shows in 2017.

Brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll reunited after a five-year hiatus this year, headlining Dublin’s Forbidden Fruit and set to appear at Hertfordshire’s Standon Calling at the end of July.

“The festivals have gone really well so far; it’s invigorating to be back in the field (literally),” says Phil. |We can’t wait for our own shows too. We love preaching to the unconverted at festivals but the intimacy of playing to your fans indoors is always a special moment.”

Paul adds: “We are hitting our stride again and looking forward to really getting down to writing and recording once the festival season is over. Festivals first, writing after; it’s a win win situation!”

They’ll be taking time out of their writing to play the following dates:

1 December – O2 Apollo, Manchester
2 December – Hammersmith Eventim Apollo, London

Tickets for the two dates go on sale at 9:00 on Friday 14 July through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
