New in music this week

Having already confirmed six headliners across two main stages, Reading & Leeds Festival have added fifteen more acts to the line-up and put day tickets on sale.

Scottish troubadour and stadium-filler Gerry Cinnamon joins headliner Liam Gallagher on Main Stage East across both sites, with the festival also adding recent Mercury Prize nominees Sports Team to the bill.

Other additions include KSI, punk rockers Gallows, rising star Girl In Red, and festival favourites The Wombats.

Reading & Leeds Festival returns in 2021, taking to both cities from 27 – 29 August. Remaining weekend and day tickets are available now. [Find tickets]

Sticking to the world of festivals, Camp Bestival has announced the first list of names for the 2021 outing. Revealing the big screen theme, the festival will welcome performances from veteran DJ Fatboy Slim, electronic duo Groove Armada, electro-pop powerhouse Becky Hill and more. The festival returns to Dorset’s Lulworth Castle from 29 July – 1 August 2021, with tickets available now. [Find tickets]

Preparing for the release of her new album Infinite Things, pop megastar Paloma Faith has announced a run of headline dates from 16 September – 25 October 2021, including two nights at London Palladium. Tickets are available from 10:00 on Friday 2 October 2020. [Find tickets]

Revealing details of their newly announced Suckapunch album, You Me At Six have also confirmed headline dates, seeing them tour the UK from 19 – 25 May 2021. Tickets will be available from 9:00 on Friday 2 October 2020. [Find tickets]

Irish-American collective Flogging Molly have also announced headline dates for next year, performing three shows from 17 – 19 August 2021, taking to Manchester, Birmingham and London. Tickets for the UK run will be available from 10:00 on Friday 2 October 2020. [Find tickets]

American alternative rock trio LANY have revealed their return to UK shores for headline shows in September 2021, marking the release of their imminent third studio album, Mama’s Boy. Tickets for the dates will be available from 9:00 on Friday 2 October 2020. [Find tickets]


New in theatre this week

Taking to theatres across the UK in September and October 2021, professional adventurer Levison Wood will be delivering adrenaline-fuelled tales of his expeditions across two hours. New in comedy this week

Britain’s Got Talent winner Lee Ridley, better known as Lost Voice Guy, will be delivering his unique brand of self-deprecating yet empowering humour at venues across the UK from 8 March until 16 May 2021. Finally, as social distancing continues across the UK, hit podcast All Killa No Filla will be presenting a virtual live show on 31 October 2020. Join comedians Rachel Fairburn and Kiri Pritchard-McLean as they continue to delve into their own morbid curiosity. [Find tickets]
