Metric’s Emily Haines chats about tour and new album

The cult stars tour the UK in November 2018.

Ahead of the release of Metric’s seventh studio album Art Of Doubt, lead vocalist and keyboardist Emily Haines stops by for a chat about the record, and their forthcoming European live dates.

The European dates kick off in Moscow on Thursday 25 October 2018, heading to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain and the Netherlands before arriving in the UK.

The UK dates see them take to Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London, kicking off on the 17 November 2018.

Metric release Art Of Doubt, recorded in their own Toronto studio and produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, on Friday 21 September 2018.

As Emily explains during the interview, the album continues their pattern of surprising fans with musical experimentation, yet deliberately brings them back to their live roots.
