The Munich rockers pick out their favourite tracks to listen to on tour ahead of their forthcoming UK dates.
Living legend Lionel Richie has announced two further UK summer appearances for 2020. Richie will bring his timeless hits – such as Hello, Endless Love and All Night Long – to Hampton Court Palace Festvial on both the 11 and 16 June 2020.
The two new UK dates follow the announcement that Richie will appear at Blenheim Palace’s brand new Nocturne Live concert series, which brings artists to the stunning surroundings of the Oxfordshire country estate, Lionel will appear on Blenheim Palace’s Great Court on Saturday 20 June 2020. Further special guests are expected to be announced in the near future.
He’ll also take to Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground on 4 June, Belfast’s Ormeau Park on 7 June, and Cardiff Castle on 2 August.
Lionel Richie began his career as singer and saxophonist in The Commodores in the late ’60s. He released his debut solo album in 1982, going on to take home four Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe and a coveted Academy Award for Say You, Say Me from the film White Nights.
To date, Lionel Richie has ten solo studio albums to his name, most recently unveiling Tuskegee in 2012. His catalogue of hits includes The Commodores’ Three Times A Lady, Still and Easy, as well as a string of solo hits from US No.1 Truly to his Endless Love duet with Diana Ross.
Richie broke records when over 200,000 people turned out to see his Glastonbury set in 2015. The legendary performance has since been turned into a film, Lionel Richie at Glastonbury.
