London-based singer Lily Allen has announced a huge European tour for December 2018 – with the UK leg consisting of dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, and a final night at London’s historic Roundhouse.

The dates celebrate her new album, No Shame, which will be released on 8 June 2018.

The album is described as her “most personal, insightful and fully formed” release to date, with the latest song from the record, Lost My Mind, telling the tale of a failing relationship. The up-beat and stark lyrics reflect what we’ve come to expect from Lily, and the song highlights her vulnerability as well as her sense of humour.

The releases and announcement follow Lily’s heartfelt musical performance on Later with Jools Holland earlier this week, where she sang Three with Jools accompanying her on the piano.

Lily Allen rose to prominence in 2006 with her iconic debut Alright, Still, which featured the songs Knock ‘Em Out, LDN, and Smile.

It’s Not Me, It’s You followed in 2009, with Sheezus following in 2014 as she continued to work with famed record producer Greg Kurstin – who wrote three of the songs on ’06’s Alright Still.

In 2012, Lily also appeared on Pink’s track True Love from her sixth studio album The Truth About Love, before Allen recorded and released a cover of Keane’s Somwhere Only We Know for the 2013 John Lewis Christmas advert.

In December 2017, Lily Allen released the first single from her upcoming album, Trigger Bang featuring the rapper Giggs. Catch the video below:

No Shame is the fourth studio album by the singer, and boasts some incredible collaborations including Fryars, Mark Ronson, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Burna Boy and more.
