Grammy Award-winning metallers Lamb of God have confirmed details of a forthcoming UK headline tour.
The new run of dates kicks off in Bristol on Tuesday 22 April 2020, before heading to Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.
The shows mark the band’s first UK headline tour since January 2014 and they’ll be joined by Kreator and Power Trip across all dates.
“It’s always a blast when you tour with someone for the first time, so we’re looking forward to hitting the road with Kreator, as well as getting some more hang time with our maniac pals in Power Trip,” comments Lamb of God frontman D. Randall Blythe.
Lamb of God are currently in the studio working on their highly anticipated forthcoming eighth studio album. The new album will be the band’s first with the recent addition of drummer Art Cruz, who has been touring with the band since 2018.
Their last album VII: Sturm Und Drang was released in 2015 to critical and commercial success, with the record debuting at No.7 on the Official UK Albums Chart.
The Virginia formed metallers released their debut album New American Gospel in 2000 and have since grown into one of the biggest metal bands of their generation.
Some of their best-known tracks include Redneck, Ruin, Set to Fail and Ghost Walking.
The rockers last toured the UK in 2018 as main support on Slayer’s farewell arena tour.
Lamb of God will return to the UK in 2020 for a run of headline dates as they put the finishing touches to their eighth studio album.
