Josh Groban’s six funniest online moments
America’s finest ‘poperatic’ singer/songwriter and actor Josh Groban has announced a full UK tour in May 2016 based on his UK #1 album Stages.
His music is earnest and heartfelt and, well, he’s likely to musically woo your ageing aunt with renditions of Pure Imagination (from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and Over The Rainbow (yeah, it’s tippy the cheesy scale), but there’s heaps more to Groban than meets the musical theatre eye.
Firstly, he is a multi-million selling artists, and mainly, he’s really quite cool and funny too – something that he brings to his live shows as well. And to prove it, here are six of Josh Groban’s funniest online moments:
1. Josh Groban sings Kanye West tweets
Josh has a new record, inspired by one of our more eccentric artists (Yeezy) and as Josh illustrates in this record advert, it’s going to be a truly memorable release.
(recently followed up with Donald Trump rendition)
2. Then he sang to the pandas
How could we forget the time Josh joined the effort to save the dwindling panda species…
3. That face-to-face interview
Then there was that time he was interviewed by, erm, Josh Groban.
4. When he proved completely unflappable by Simon Amstell
The Never Mind The Buzzcocks host pulled out all the stops to try and knock Groban off his stride on the show.
5. He also got scientific
When science proved Groban is actually an acoustic panty remover. Or something.
6. We love when he met Kid President
This one will always have a special place in our hearts. Check out the time Groban was on Kid President – what a guy!
