Jeff Lynne’s ELO to return in the autumn
Jeff Lynne's ELO have announced eight arena shows.
Having wowed audiences at shows in London, Hull, Sheffield and Glasgow earlier this year, Jeff Lynne’s ELO are set to return for a full UK tour in September and October 2018.
“Our audiences are amazing. It’s like they’re in the group. We can’t wait to play for them again,” Jeff announced.
Jeff Lynne’s ELO are renowned for their huge live shows, blending rock, pop and classical music into a mesmerising live concert experience. In their time, they have developed a repertoire of twenty-six UK Top 40 singles, including Xanadu, Hold On Tight and Mr Blue Sky.
Jeff Lynne’s ELO are immortalising their big Wembley Stadium performance in a live DVD entitled Wembley or Bust, due for release on 17 November 2017. It features one of the greatest rock and roll spectacles of all time, including bells, whistles and spaceships in front of the 60-thousand capacity crowd.
As a producer, Lynne has also been instrumental in the careers of The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh and Bryan Adams. Lynne was a co-founder and member of The Travelling Wilburys together with Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty.
Jeff Lynne’s ELO kick off their UK dates in Nottingham on 30 September 2018, running through until 23 October at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. The tour includes a stop at London’s O2 on 17 October.
