The follow up to 2016’s Back from the Edge, YOU will be the musician’s third studio album.

The 15-track LP will be released on 18 October 2019 and features guest appearances from Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and Taking Back Sunday lead vocalist Adam Lazzara.

Talking about the new record, James comments: “I have called the album YOU as unlike Back from the Edge which was autobiographical, my third album is not about me, it’s about YOU“.

Three singles from the album have been released so far; Naked, Empty Space and Falling Like The Stars.

The wildly successful performer first came to widespread acclaim and attention in 2012, after winning the ninth series of the Simon Cowell led talent show The X Factor.

After winning the show, James released his debut self-titled studio album which debuted at No.2 on the Official UK Albums Chart. The record contains the hit singles Impossible and You’re Nobody ’til Somebody Loves You.

After taking a break from the spotlight, the musician returned in 2016 to release his second studio album Back from the Edge. The album spawned the huge hit single Say You Won’t Let Go, which has achieved multi-platinum status in countries such as the UK, US, Canada and Australia.

In total, James Arthur has sold more than 25 million records across the globe and his songs have been streamed more than 3 billion times.

Last year the musician collaborated with Anne-Marie, with their reworking of Rewrite The Stars from the hit film The Greatest Showman becoming a global streaming sensation.
