Jack Garratt tops BBC Sound of 2016 poll

Congratulations are in order for Jack Garratt (again), as he tops the BBC Sound of 2016 list.

The Buckingham singer/songwriter said he was ‘unbelievably, overwhelmingly grateful’ to be recognised by the prestigious poll.

Garratt follows in the footsteps of indie-pop trio Years & Years, Adele, Sam Smith and Ellie Goulding.

The list was compiled using tips from a panel of 144 DJs, journalists, festival bookers, bloggers and critics.
