Interview: The Sherlocks on new album and UK tour
Watch the Sheffield indie rockers chat about things to come.
Indie rockers The Sherlocks are flying high.
The band have just released their sophomore studio album Under Your Sky.
The follow up to their top-10 debut Live For The Moment, the new LP features a more mature sound from the band, who have made a concerted effort to concentrate more on their songwriting craft.
First breaking through in 2015, the band have quickly grown a fierce and loyal fanbase.
Growing up in Bolton upon Dearne, The Sherlocks would regularly attend shows in nearby Sheffield and started a band hoping to follow in the footsteps of acts that they’d seen perform at the city’s venues, like fellow local heroes Arctic Monkeys.
In this interview, filmed at The FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield ahead of an exclusive acoustic performance for 100 lucky fans, the quartet discuss the new album, what they hope fans take away from it and why there’s a great atmosphere in their band right now.
Fans will get a chance to hear new tracks live from Under Your Sky live when The Sherlocks hit the road next year.
