Bryan Adams has revealed some advice he recently shared with Justin Bieber, as the unlikely pair came together in Germany.
Although a duet we fully support, no one was really expecting to see the Summer of ’69 hitmaker perform with the Canadian pop star anytime soon.
In a new interview with berliner-zeitung.de, Adams revealed the advice he passed down to the Love Yourself singer after they performed Baby together in Berlin last year.
Sure.
“Have fun! Enjoy it!”Adams said, “Don’t take it all too seriously! That’s the advice I also give my own kids by the way. Of course you have to be pretty strict as a dad. But luckily my children are still pretty young.”
Recalling their duet with a beaming smile on his face, he added, “He was very enthusiastic, so I suggested we listen to a few of his songs on the internet and pick one.
“Baby was the only one of his songs I kind of knew. I didn’t find it embarrassing. I didn’t have much time to learn the song, but luckily it turned out to be quite easy.”
Bryan Adams brings his The Get Up tour to the UK in April 2016, while Justin Bieber headlines in October.
