Here’s how Iron Maiden’s Paperless Ticketing works
The legend's UK tour kicks off next week.
With Iron Maiden opening the doors for their UK tour dates from 31 July 2018 at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena, the legendary veterans have released a video explaining how the Paperless Ticketing process will work.
Paperless helps Ticketmaster control the resale of high demand events, stopping tickets end up in the wrong hands. Upon arrival at the event, fans will be asked to provide the card with which the booking was made, and corresponding ID. This is then verified by the booking system.
The video above explains all you need to know about getting into the Iron Maiden shows.
These 2018 dates follow the massively successful global tour in support of their 16th studio album The Book of Souls, released in 2015.
The UK dates kick off at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena before taking in cities including Aberdeen, Manchester and Birmingham, and then culminating in a huge show at the O2 Arena in London on 10 August.
The concept for the Legacy of the Beast tour was inspired by Maiden’s mobile game and comic book of the same name and the stage set design will feature a number of different but interlocking “worlds” with a set list covering a large selection of ‘80s material with a handful of surprises from later albums to add diversity.
Joining the band on tour are American metalcore outfit Killswitch Engage as special guests for the UK dates.
Here are those dates:
31 July 2018 – Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
4 August 2018 – BGHE Arena, Aberdeen
6 August 2018 – Manchester Arena
7 August 2018 – Genting Arena, Birmingham
10 August 2018 – The O2, London
