Guest review: Seafret support Kodaline at The Roundhouse, London
Yorkshire duo Seafret take on guest review duty as they support Kodaline at Camden’s iconic Roundhouse.
Last Saturday night, we had the privilege of supporting Kodaline at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. We’ve been asked to give our review of the show, so here’s what went down…
Opening the show with Ready, the Kodaline boys got the crowd in the palms of their hands and swiftly warmed-up for the rest of the night. Rocketing through their set, you could really feel the love in the room for them. Although we played with them for a couple of shows before Christmas, it felt like they’d come back with a renewed energy and enthusiasm for this rescheduled gig.

Listening to their tracks back to back makes you realise what talented songwriters Kodaline are – belter after belter! For us though, the stand out track of the night was the sing-along classic High Hopes – which takes us back to when we were just about to move down to London after signing our deal.
These lads have come a long way too and we’ll always be grateful to them for letting us open the stage for them, their audience are so receptive and welcoming to us every time. Hope we can catch them at a festival or two this summer!
