Gorillaz return to headline Demon Dayz at Dreamland

Gorillaz will top Demon Dayz Festival at Margate’s Dreamland, curated by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.

Animated band Gorillaz are set to make their live return at a very special one-day festival at Margate’s Dreamland. They will headline the Demon Dayz Festival, with other bands chosen by founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett. The event will mark their first live appearance since the sold out Plastic Beach World Tour of 2010.

With more bands to be announced across three stages, the event will take place on Saturday 10 June 2017. Ticket price also includes access to the Dreamland amusement park, hosting roller coasters, a ferris wheel and more.

Comprising 2D (vocals), Noodle (guitar), Russel Hobbs (drums) and Murdoc Niccals (bass), they first appeared on the live stage in 2010 at Coachella Festival, nine years after the release of their debut self-titled album.

They have released four albums to date, most recently 2011’s The Fall. This year they dropped their new track Hallelujah Money featuring Benjamin Clementine.
