Fontaines D.C. to play headline show in Newcastle’s Exhibition Park this July
The alternative rockers have announced the last of their huge outdoor dates for summer 2025
Fresh off a sold-out arena tour, Fontaines D.C. have made their final announcement for summer 2025, revealing a huge date in Newcastle’s Exhibition Park. They’ll be joined by special guests English Teacher, with an opener still to be announced.
The Irish group already have a huge summer ahead of them, with previously announced shows at Finsbury Park (5 July) and Cardiff Castle (30 July) already sold out. With tickets selling fast for their Wythenshawe Park show in Manchester (15 August), their newly announced Newcastle show may UK fans’ last chance to get their hands on tickets this summer.
The band’s latest album ROMANCE, released this August, has garnered a huge amount of critical praise, with five-star reviews in NME, The Guardian and Rolling Stone, and support from Elton John, who called the group “the best band out there at the moment.”
Tickets for Fontaines D.C. at Exhibition Park go on sale this Friday 6 December at 9am.
