Emeli Sandé adds extra date to 2019 UK tour
The singer will tour in support of new album Real LIfe.
Due to phenomenal demand, Emeli Sandé has added an extra show to her upcoming UK tour.
The new date will see the BRIT Award-winning singer take to the stage at the New Theatre, Oxford on Monday 9 December 2019.
Tickets for the new show will be available from 9:00 Friday 30 August 2019.
The upcoming tour will now take in a total of 19 shows, finishing with a performance at the Hull Bonus Arena on Friday 13 December 2019.
The tour is in celebration of the musician’s highly anticipated upcoming third studio album Real Life, due for release on Friday 13 September 2019.
Three singles from the upcoming album have been released so far, Sparrow, Extraordinary Being and latest track Shine. Watch the official video the latter below:
A global superstar, Emile Sandé first broke through in the late ’00s, featuring on hit singles such as Chipmunk’s Diamond Rings and Professor Green’s No.1 track Read All About It, before releasing her wildly successful debut album Our Version of Events in 2012.
Featuring the singles Heaven, Daddy, Clown, My Kind of Love and Next to Me, the album debuted at No.1 on the Official UK Chart.
Following the release of Our Version Of Events, Sandé has featured on a host of hit singles including the Labrinth collaboration Beneath Your Beautiful and the David Guetta single What I Did for Love.
In 2016, the singer-songwriter released her sophomore studio album Long Live the Angels. Featuring the singles Hurts and Breathing Underwater, the album saw the musician incorporate music from her Zambian background and received positive reviews.
To support the release, the singer headed out on the Long Live the Angels tour which included sell-out shows at venues such as The O2 and Manchester Arena, as well as a show-stopping performance at Glastonbury Festival in 2017.
In May 2019 the singer treated fans to new material from her upcoming album Real Life, at a special sold out intimate London show at Sadlers Wells Theatre.
The musician heads out on a full UK tour this winter, to support the new release.
