Download 2014: Aerosmith announced as final headliner
Aerosmith will join Avenged Sevenfold and Linkin Park in headlining
Download Festival 2014.
The rock legends will close the festival on Sunday June 15th, and will be joined by Alter Bridge as their main support.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry said of the band’s first UK show since 2010: “It’s been too long since we’ve been to England and we’re sincerely f**king charged to be coming back! See you there.”
Avenged Sevenfold will headline the opening night of the festival and Linkin Park will play their debut album Hybrid Theory in full on the Saturday night. Rob Zombie and Fall Out Boy have also been confirmed to play.
Download 2014 will be held on 13-15 June in Donington Park, Leicestershire and tickets are on sale at an Earlybird rate of £10 off 2013 prices until 9am Friday November 8.
