Childish Gambino has added a second London date
He'll now also be headlining The O2 on the 25 March 2019.
Childish Gambino, AKA rapper, writer, actor and all-round entertainer Donald Glover has announced a second huge headline date. He’ll now take to London’s O2 on the 25 March 2019 as well as the previously announced previous night.
Childish Gambino dropped the politically charged This Is America in May 2018, accompanied by a critically lauded video filled with poignant imagery and metaphor.
The song provided Glover with his first stateside No.1 single, and is now topping many of the end of year lists for best single.

Glover is also noted for his work on screen, having risen to fame on stateside comedy show Community. He is currently starring in the award-winning Atlanta. As well as playing the lead, he also writes, produces and directs.
He is set to appear as the voice of Simba in the forthcoming The Lion King remake, having recently taken to the big screen as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Musically, Glover’s Childish Gambino project has spawned three full-length albums to date, including the most recent “Awaken, My Love”. His Camp debut dropped in 2011, followed by Because The Internet two years later.
A new album is set to be released in the near future.
Childish Gambino will be joined at The O2 by H.E.R, a vocalist based in California. She released her compilation of both previous self-titled EPs last year including singles Focus and 2.
H.E.R most recently dropped This Way with rising star Khalid, recorded for the Superfly soundtrack.
Both acts will be taking to London’s O2 on the following dates:
24 March 2019 – The O2, London
25 March 2019 – The O2, London
Tickets for Childish Gambino’s second London headline show will be available from 9:00 on 7 December 2018 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
