BRIT Awards 2016: The live performances we can’t wait to see
Happy BRIT Awards day, folks! It’s a matter of hours until the 2016 ceremony gets underway so we’re looking ahead to the night’s live performances.
Here’s who will be taking to the stage at the 2016 BRIT Awards tonight…
It’s no surprise to hear the Hello songstress is tipped for all the top prizes at tonight’s ceremony, but it’s her performance that has us most excited. Consider it a taster of her March tour.
RiRi remains on the bill so we’re keeping everything crossed that she’s able to make it. The Work singer was forced to pull out of her GRAMMYs performance for health reasons but after being announced for V Festival 2016, we’re hoping she can put us in the summer spirit early.
Oh, Bieber. Also confirmed for V Festival 2016, the Sorry singer is almost guaranteed to be the talk of social media when he performs tonight. Fingers crossed he’s learnt from Madonna’s mishap and doesn’t wear a cape…
The British rockers can do wrong right now, and their BRITs performance is sure to keep that trend in tact. We’re expecting HUGE things from their stadium tour in June, so a taster of things to come would do just nicely.
If you ask us, we can never have too much of live Little Mix. The sultry foursome will get us all excited for their March tour with a live showdown at The O2 tonight. Plus a possible guest appearance from Jason Derulo? We’re keeping everything crossed for THAT.
The Weeknd
We’re pretty sure that somewhere there’s a hidden box containing the secrets to making a certified pop banger, and only The Weeknd has the key. Any award ceremony isn’t complete without a performance from this hitmaker and we can’t wait to see how he lights up the BRITs.
Pop’s sweetheart returns to the BRITs with a Best Female Solo Artist nomination to boot. Jess Glynne never fails when it comes to showcasing her live skills, so be prepared to want to catch the end of her UK tour after this.
After bagging the Critics’ Choice Award at last year’s ceremony, James Bay is back to play live this year. Prepare for the usual levels of hat envy and swooning.
