Bloodstock have added more bands

Bloodstock Festival have added four more bands to the a line-up that already boasts headliners Gojira, Judas Priest and Nightwish.

The latest bands added to the bill are crossover thrash legends Suicidal Tendencies, the Duke of Spook Wednesday 13, Florida power metallers Kamelot, and classic rockers Mr Big.

Suicidal Tendencies will take to the main stage on the Friday for the first time in their 38-year career. Their latest album World Gone Mad features ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo behind the kit.

Wednesday 13 will also take to the main stage on the Friday, channeling the likes of Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie in his atmospheric and theatrical performance.

Kamelot are the third band to be added to the main stage on the first day, currently working on the follow-up to their 2015 album Haven.

The final act announced today is classic rock legends Mr Big, who will play on the main stage on the Sunday having released their ninth studio album Defying Gravity earlier this year.

As well as the three headliners, the additions join the already announced Emperor, DevilDriver, Watain, Fozzy, Combichrist, Bloodbath, Nails, Doro, Orden Ogan, SEPTICFLESH, and Memoriam.

Bloodstock 2018 takes place from the 9 – 12 August 2018 at Catton Park in Derbyshire.
