Here they go again! The Swedish pop band comprised of Benny Andersson, Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Björn Ulvaeus have announced the greatest ABBA performance the world has never seen.

Called ABBA Voyage, it combines the old and new, the young and not-so-young, while bringing the four beloved band members together again through their music.

Known for such heady, disco-tastic hits as Dancing Queen, Take A Chance On Me, Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and many more, the group confirmed details for a truly ground-breaking experience that opens from 27 May 2022.

With a reputation for insanely energetic live shows, ABBA have designed the kind of concert they always wanted to do – where they get to travel back in time and perform for fans as digital versions of their best selves.

ABBA Voyage: The Journey Is About To Begin

Blurring the lines of reality, the magic of ABBA’s past is being brought into the present with the latest motion capture technology. Audiences will see the band as they were from 1979 – but with a surprising futuristic spin.

Staged in a custom-built venue dubbed the ABBA Arena in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the virtual foursome will be accompanied by a live 10-piece band. Plus, ABBA Voyage offers plenty of unique ways to enjoy the show that include watching everything unfold from your seat in the auditorium to dancing the night away as part of the exhilarating Dance Booth option.

With ABBA’s last album released back in 1982, the super-Swedes have also revealed a new record titled Voyage is on the way. More details about this are still to come, but fans who pre-order it here before 12:00 on 4 September 2021 will have first access to tickets for ABBA Voyage via a presale that opens from 10:00 on 5 September 2021.

Fans can also register here for early ticket access via a presale that opens from 10:00 on 6 September 2021. Otherwise tickets for ABBA Voyage go on general sale to the public from 10:00 on 7 September 2021.

Hints and tips for improving your chances of bagging ABBA Voyage tickets during the presales or on the day of the general sale

What can you do to help secure those tickets? Notepads at the ready! Check out these top tips to improve your chances of bagging the best ABBA Voyage tickets when they become available.

1. Open your account and log in now
Get the details out of the way before tickets are available by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later. Head to Ticketmaster.co.uk and log in to your account to get started.

2. Don’t refresh your screen
Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game. Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

3. Check when tickets are available – even once they’re on sale
Keep up-to-date with news at Twitter.com/TicketmasterUK. If anything changes regarding ABBA Voyage tickets – anything at all – our social followers will be the first to know about it. We send real-time updates as the general sale happens, including any technical difficulties that might occur (remember there are a lot of ABBA fans) and alerts on when new tickets become available. When we have popular shows and tours going on sale, we try our very best behind the scenes to secure as many tickets for you as possible and here’s where you’ll know if we’ve been successful.

4. Don’t oversleep on the date of your presale or the general sale
That would be disastrous!

We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again: ABBA Voyage tickets go on general sale from 10:00 on Tuesday 7 September 2021 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
