Where could be better to banish the boredom and beat the Bank Holiday blues than at South West Four –the hub for all music-mad Londoners?
2. Multicultural, Multi-Genre Music
South West Four is notorious for consistently having one of the best and most diverse festival line-ups in the world, and this year’s medley of acts is no different! We’ve got international artists from Australian duo Knife Party to hot European talents like Yotto, Paul Kalkbrenner and Klingande, and the best acts from the worlds of techno, house, dance, dubstep, drum and bass and electronic music. There’s something for everyone at South West Four, and so the whole of London has a reason to attend!
3. Big Beats and Devastating Drops
The moment when an artist plays a killer bassline, or drops a heavy beat is one that always gets everyone dancing – uniting all fans of music in a beautiful, bone-shattering moment of appreciation. Some of the music industry’s heaviest-hitting musicians will be appearing at South West Four to blow the minds of festival-goers, including Andy C, Delta Heavy, Friction and Carl Cox, so audiences will this year, once again, unite over their love of a huge beat.
4. Location, Location, Location…
Clapham Common may not seem like a festival-in-waiting, but that’s where you’re wrong, as South West Four transforms the outdoor location from pleasant, inner-city park to party paradise. Clapham Common makes an incredible venue, not only because it’s fantastically central and tantalisingly close to the best bits of London, but it is the most easily accessible festival in the capital, which brings the whole of London together, with minimal hassle.
5. London Pride
Clapham Common crowds are made up of fans across the world, but no group is better represented than, understandably, Londoners. Not only is London represented in the audiences, however, but some of the capital’s finest musical talent will be taking to the stages too. Rudimental, Dizzee Rascal, The Chemical Brothers and DJ EZ are among the acts from London appearing across stages, leaving London music fans to celebrate some seriously good homegrown talent!
6. Ibiza Vibes
Some of Ibiza’s best-loved events organisers are coming to South West Four this year to provide you with a splash of Spanish style in the heart of London.
