What is VIP?
First things first, what is a VIP package? Essentially, anything that elevates your experience above the general admission ticket. There’s no one-size-fits-all definition. Depending on the event, the VIP package will differ. However, most of the packages outlined here can be broken into three different categories:
VIP Camping / Accommodation:
This is usually purchased in addition to your festival ticket, giving you access to a specific VIP camping area – or accommodation (camper, cabin, hotel). When you’re doing a multi-day festival extravaganza, having a comfortable place to recharge is essential for your longevity and overall enjoyment of a festival.
VIP Ticket:
A VIP ticket will give you access to specific VIP perks. This could be a VIP lounge, exclusive merch, meet and greets, express entry, VIP DJs, luxury toilets, exclusive camping, specialty food vendors and more. When you purchase a VIP ticket, some will include the price of festival admission in the package, and some don’t. Make sure to check this!
VIP Upgrade:
A VIP upgrade is an add-on after you’ve purchased the festival admission ticket.

Audi presents Wilderness (31 Jul–3 Aug, Oxfordshire)
Wilderness has found its home in the delightful Cornbury Estate in Oxfordshire since the early 2010s. Wilderness Meadow Camping provides a hassle free experience, with your tent already set up, unfurnished but pre-pitched in Meadow Accommodation.
Just pull up, put your bags down, roll out your yoga mat and your sleeping bag and then get straight into the festival goodness. Meadow Camping also provides luxury facilities and a pamper parlour.

Camp Bestival Dorset (31 Jul–3 Aug July, Dorset)
Camp Bestival is the Disney movie of festivals. Wholesome, family-friendly fun. It’s even held at a castle.
Since its inception in 2008, Camp Bestival has been held every July in Dorset (and now also extends to Shropshire).
The line-up never disappoints, but beyond the music Camp Bestival knows how to keep you (and the kids) entertained. Think silent discos, wild swimming, a roller disco, yoga sessions, and a craft village.

The UK’s beloved indie pop-rock pilgrimage has been headed to Suffolk’s Henham Park since 2006.

Download (13 –15 June, Leicestershire)
Download is one of the world’s best rock festivals, held annually since 2003 when it replaced the 1980s and 90s Monsters of Rock festival at Donnington Park. In recent years, Download has since expanded to Paris, Sydney, Melbourne, and Germany.

Returning for 2025, The Rock Retreat offers 5-day camping VIP packages at Melbourne Hall. Rockstar Energy presents Reading & Leeds (22 – 24 Aug, Reading, Leeds)

TRNSMT (11-13 July, Glasgow)
