The best UK festivals in July 2025

From neo-soul in the South East to hardstyle techno up north – take in the best music festivals happening this month

We’re at the halfway point of the festival season and some of you (ahem… on their way back from a farm in Somerset) might already be ready to pack away the camping gear gladrags for another year.

For the rest of us who are only just getting started, there are plenty of show-stopping names performing throughout the UK this summer, from BST Hyde Park in the capital all the way up to Lytham and Glasgow, with many gems to stop off at en route.

Take in the breadth of what the UK festival circuit in July has to offer below.

American Express Presents BST Hyde Park

Until 13 July, Hyde Park, London | Buy tickets here

Rolling over from June, when Olivia Rodrigo and a double helping of Noah Kahan took over the Great Oak Stage, is BST Hard Park. For the first two weekends of July you can see titans of pop (Sabrina Carpenter), folk rock (Neil Young), a mixture of both pop and rock (Noah Kahan), soul and R&B (Stevie Wonder), plus disco king Nile Rodgers and dad rock extraordinaire Jeff Lynne, with plenty of options to do it in style.

TK Maxx Presents Lytham

2–6 July, Lytham Green, Lytham St. Anne’s | Buy tickets here

All the way up in Lancashire, next to an old windmill on Lytham Green is an annual festival that has grown from the one-night-only ‘Lytham Proms’ into a four-day bonanza that boasts a family friendly billing. This July, soak in the vast Ribble Estuary on a summer’s evening to either Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, Justin Timberlake, or Simple Minds & Texas. Or all of them!

Love Supreme

4–6 July, Glynde Palace, East Sussex | Buy tickets here

One of Europe’s biggest jazz festivals, Love Supreme has been long been a favourite weekend of the summer for many music fans in the South Easte, though it also attracts plenty of jazz and neo-soul fans from abroad, too. This year sees the return of smooth operator Maxwell, who played the festival’s first edition in 2013, for his only UK performance of the year. Don’t miss music wizz Jacob Collier, En Vogue or The Roots too. Oh, and Nile Rodgers & CHIC – heard of them?

Part of its success has been its niche – Radar meets in the Venn diagram of heavy music and gaming. This year you can catch the likes of Underøath, Bob Vylan, Carpenter Brut, VUKOVI and more.

Rockstar Energy presents Wireless

A festival that shouldn’t need an introduction: Wireless is simply the ultimate spot to see the biggest names in rap music this side of the Atlantic. But as it celebrates its 20th year, this July sees the festival try something new, as they recruit one artist to perform three different setlists over the weekend. A global hip hop superstar who absolutely loves London? There could only be one such artist for the job…
