Here’s the first ever Hideaway Festival line-up

The first ever Hideaway Festival will take place this summer.
The event is located in the heart of Essex next to at Chelmsford’s Hylands Park and runs from 14 – 16 August 2020.
Legendary performer Tom Jones is set to headline the festival’s The Hideaway Stage on Saturday night. The music legend, and current The Voice coach, will bring with him a huge array of hits from his 50 plus year career in music such as What’s New Pussycat?, Delilah, It’s Not Unusual, and Sex Bomb.
Taking on headline duties on Sunday night will be the iconic Grace Jones. In what is sure to be a landmark set, 2020 marks 35 years since the musician released her most revered album Slave To The Rhythm.
Also confirmed to appear on The Hideaway Stage over the weekend is the raspy-voiced US star Macy Gray, UK soul legend Beverly Knight, London singer-songwriter Sinead Harnett and party starters Brooklyn Funk Essentials.
Other artists confirmed to be performing across the festival include Caravan Palance, Ezra Collective, James Taylor Quartet, KOKOROKO, Eric Bibb, Big Daddy Wilson and more.
The festival will hold exclusive opening and after parties for those who are camping, with the likes of Norman Jay MBE, Gregg Edwards and Brandon Block set to perform.
As well as live music, Hideaway Festival will also feature an old time funfair, free kids activities, a food village and more.
